England's Government
England's government works just the same as in Canada, we have a general election at least every 5 years. The winning party (or a coalition of parties if there is no one winning party) forms a government. The Queen appoint their leader as prime minister. Parliament consists of two houses, the lords and the commons, the prime minister and most ministers sit in the commons. the commons passes laws and the lords (mostly appointed exports from all walks of life) may revise them, and when they both agree the Queen gives her Royal Assent.
